Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and lead its Denver office. The role focuses on building the office, winning regional projects, and delivering electrical designs for industrial and process-driven facilities.

You will design power systems, mentor staff, and work across offices to staff projects, including reviews, coordination, and site startup. Colorado licensure or eligibility is required, with leadership as a core expectation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or process-driven facilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to build and grow a new office.

Responsibilities

• Build the Denver office and establish the electrical practice.
• Serve as the local point of contact for regional clients.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Collaborate with other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Design power distribution for industrial/critical facilities (low- and medium-voltage).
• Perform and review short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
