Job summary

NJ Paz Painting Services Inc. is seeking a residential/commercial painter to professionally prepare and execute interior painting in a residential or commercial setting across NYC boroughs.

You will join a team that values quality work, customer satisfaction, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate brings proven painting experience, OSHA certifications, and the ability to travel between Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and NYC job sites.

Qualifications

• OSHA SST certification required.
• OSHA Scaffold certification (4 hours) required.
• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the US.
• Reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply company painting techniques.
• Paint using brushes, rollers, sprayers with proper technique.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, or other means.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, coatings.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Experience in skim coating.
• Perform daily maintenance on painting equipment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional interior painting jobs in a residential/commercial setting.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Regardless of Talent, you must be willing to learn company technique of painting.
• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, sprayer etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Experience in Skim Coating
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
