Pinnacle Athletic Complex (PAC) Coordinator

Description:

The PAC Coordinator oversees the coordination of PAC events, manages the PAC calendar, and maintains overall facility quality of the PAC. The role includes overseeing all aspects of stadium operations during rentals, managing event logistics, ensuring facility maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional experiences.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to: Athletic Director
  • Direct Reports: None (non‑supervisory)

Compensation:

This is an hourly, non‑exempt, part‑time, 12‑month position. Schedule and hours will vary based on rentals and facility needs. Compensation ranges from $16.38 to $22.80 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Essential Functions

Athletic Complex Coordination – Administration:

  • Manage event logistics, including setup and teardown.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., security, maintenance, athletics, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.

Athletic Complex Coordination – Logistics:

  • Follow all facilities opening and closing procedures, ensuring the facility is prepared and accessible for renter use and remains in good condition after use. Serve as on‑site point of contact and representative during community and/or renter events.
  • Report any property damage or issues to the CFO and Athletic Director immediately after events.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement; communicate findings to appropriate departments.
  • Plan and execute emergency preparedness protocols as needed and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Game Management:

  • Check on field set‑up and ensure the game area is ready for play; assist with set‑up per the direction of the renter.
  • Monitor and assist in the management of fans. Ensure fans are in appropriate areas and are respectful to the facilities and others at the event.
  • Be visible to event participants.
  • In the event of an emergency, take necessary actions to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
  • Assist with teardown of athletic fields/game areas; put away and secure all equipment; ensure all spaces are locked.

Additional Duties:

  • Be present and engage in Pinnacle functions and organizations to build strong relationships with students, parents, peers, and the community.
  • Maintain and deepen current educational learning on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience preferred in recreation or sports management or related field.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Working Conditions
  • Exposure/Noise Level: Occasional exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and outdoor weather conditions. Moderate to high noise level in a theater environment.

  • Physical Activities: Bend, reach, sit, stand, stoop, talk, walk, and engage in heavy person‑to‑person interaction with community members.
  • Weight and Force Demands: Moderate physical activity (lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 30 pounds).
  • Other: May be required to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work‑related functions.
