Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management professional to join our CIAM team and help design, modernize, and scale the PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud platform globally.

You will lead the development and refactoring of authentication journeys, implement MFA and risk-based authentication, and build secure integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML. This role emphasizes security, reliability, and regulatory compliance in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IAM experience required.
• Experience with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC) required.
• Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, session management.
• Experience with MFA, OTP, and risk-based authentication.
• 4+ years JavaScript development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• 2+ years CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in cloud-native or hybrid IAM environments.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Understanding of privacy and regulatory requirements impacting CIAM.

Responsibilities

• Design, refactor IAM solutions using PingOne AIC.
• Migrate legacy PingOne AIC scripts to current standards.
• Develop integrations with risk analytics and identity verification providers.
• Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory compliance across platforms.
