Job summary

Orion Talent is partnering with a leading semiconductor equipment client to find an Engineering Technician for their pilot manufacturing team in Portland, OR. You will assemble and test modules, identify issues, and help develop work instructions, working alongside engineers and technical writers in a safety-first environment.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, documenting issues in client systems, and ensuring timely closure of tracking items.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced R&D manufacturing setting.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and technical writers.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in assembling and testing modules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and technical writers to assemble, test, and refine module designs and work instructions.
• Perform work according to work instructions, with your sign-off confirming complete and validated work.
• Accurately document issues and key information in the client\'s systems of record, including issue logs, quality nonconformances, and operation sign-offs.
• Close out open issues and tracking items in a timely way.
