Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Oregon is seeking an Engineering Technician III to join the Global Operations Group. You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve semiconductor process modules and subsystems, applying technical judgment in a fast-paced R&D environment to influence product quality and manufacturing readiness.

You will work with engineers on issues from evolving designs, maintain documentation, support root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety,

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Firsthand experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English.
• Proficient in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work a shift schedule.
• Associates degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test developmental semiconductor process modules and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and integration issues during assembly and testing.
• Identify design, configuration, documentation, process, and workmanship issues impacting performance or manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain Issue Logs, TOIs, NCIs, and other required documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
