Job summary

Us Tech Solutions in Foster City, CA, is seeking a hands-on upstream bioprocess professional for a 12-month opportunity to run pilot-scale cell culture processes and support biologics development programs.

You will work directly with seed train shake flasks, WAVE systems, and 100 L and 500 L single-use bioreactors, contributing to process execution, troubleshooting, technology transfer, and continuous improvement. Strong documentation habits and safety/data integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on upstream cell culture experience at bench, pilot, or manufacturing scale.
• Strong technical writing and documentation habits (SOPs, batch records, run summaries).
• Organized, collaborative, safety- and data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, buffers, and reagents; set up equipment; support tear-down and cleaning.
• Execute routine upstream activities, including daily bioreactor sampling and feeding.
• Maintain accurate documentation in SOPs, Batch records, run summaries, deviations.
• Troubleshoot issues during pilot runs and help maintain equipment and inventory.
• Support technology transfers and monitor process performance with clear data summaries.
