Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical/ Biochemical Eng preferred.
• 5+ years leading pilot- or large-scale manufacturing.
• Experience with hazardous location operations and NEC/NFPA knowledge.
• Hands-on chemical processing: distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, centrifugation.
• Ability to design, plan, and execute large-volume experiments.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong leadership and mentoring.
• Able to work independently in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process improvements in Biochemical DSP.
• Mentor engineers and operators on large-scale processes.
• Balance timelines, budgets, and resources for projects.
• Perform hands-on equipment adjustments and train operators.
• Create P&IDs with user requirements for new equipment.
• Coordinate commissioning and site acceptance testing.
• Translate bench-scale processes to pilot-scale operations.
• Maintain SOPs and record-keeping per regulations.
• Share project data with teammates and collaborators.
• Contribute to tech transfer discussions with partners.
