Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Purification Process Engineer with advanced experience in downstream processing to lead biomanufacturing projects and drive pilot- and large-scale operations. You will translate bench methods to production scales, mentor engineers, and ensure safe, compliant execution in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications include a B.S./M.S. in a related engineering field and 5+ years in leadership roles, with expertise in distillation, liquid-liquid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in pilot- or large-scale manufacturing.
• Experience with hazardous location operations and relevant safety regulations (NEC/NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project-specific process improvements in the Biochemical DSP space.
• Mentor/train engineers/operators on large-scale processes and industry standards.
• Balance timelines and resources to execute projects while accommodating maintenance and facility improvements.
• Create P&IDs and specify equipment requirements as needed.
• Coordinate commissioning and site acceptance tests of new equipment.
• Translate bench-scale processes to pilot-scale operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records and produce regular technical reports.
