Job summary

Pentastar Aviation in Waterford, MI seeks an experienced Pilot-in-Command for a Gulfstream large-cabin fleet. You will lead as PIC, ensure safety, flight operations compliance, and timely service for a demanding charter program.

Requirements include ATP, 4,000 hours total, GVII/GVIII type ratings preferred, business aviation and international flight experience, and FAA First Class medical. You will live within 2 hours of Waterford and expect about 250 flight hours per year.

The Pilot-in-Command is responsible for the safety of passengers and crew and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. They supervise the flight crew and ensure that all flight and ground operations comply with FAA Regulations. They determine flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. They make decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. They may perform other general department duties when not flying. Hiring preference will be given to candidates who hold GVII and/or GVIII type ratings and have prior experience in type.This position is located in Waterford, MI. The individuals selected for this position must live within 2 hours of Waterford, MI.
