Plantible Foods is seeking an Operator to support pilot plant, cultivation systems, and facilities, helping scale a novel protein production process. You will work in processing, greenhouses, or across the site, gaining hands-on exposure to innovative manufacturing in a fast-moving startup.

You will perform daily processing tasks, equipment sanitation, setup lines, and coordinate with Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, and R&D to refine processes while adhering to GMP, HACCP, OSHA and food

Competenze

• Prior experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a facility manufacturing environment.
• Experience in basic technical/manufacturing.
• Ability to do basic math functions (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Must be able to convert standard units of measurement.
• Forklift Certification or the ability to complete certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours a day, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evening or night shifts, as needed.
• Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems is a plus.
• Experience in hydroponics/aquaponics is a plus!
• A desire to contribute and make a sustainable impact!

Mansioni

• Operate downstream processing equipment on a daily basis to support pilot plant and production activities.
• Set up, manage, and verify process plumbing lineups, including hoses, hard lines, fittings, and tank connections.
• Execute routine processing tasks such as equipment sanitation, solution preparation, and charging of processing systems.
• Support preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repairs of processing equipment as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, and R&D to support process refinement and continuous improvement.
• Accurately follow documented procedures and contribute to process documentation updates when applicable.
• Adhere to all applicable GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards at all times.
