Job summary

210 Lummus Technology LLC-Corp is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator / Research Plant Technician to safely operate pilot plant units and support research efforts. The role emphasizes HSE compliance, routine sampling, equipment monitoring, and collaboration with engineers, maintenance, and laboratory staff.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training or certification, and experience with process equipment and safety standards. Location: Pasadena, TX area.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) environments.
• Experience or training in industrial safety practices.
• Comfort reading operating procedures and following work instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pilot plant and research units per procedures.
• Take routine samples and deliver to laboratory for analysis.
• Record operating data and report abnormal conditions.
• Assist with construction, modification, and commissioning of pilot equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and use plant equipment safely.
• Provide shift turnover and communicate status to the team.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and lab staff on objectives.
