We seek a full-time, entry-level PILOT PLANT OPERATOR. Responsibilities include monitoring instruments, adjusting valves and gauges, and interpreting chemical reactions while following safety and standard procedures to ensure efficient, safe production.
The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic and flammable materials, extreme temperatures, and other environmental hazards. Proper PPE, including fit-tested respirators, is required. The ability to lift up to 55 pounds is necessary, with assistance for heavier loads. Vision requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with possible adjustments, overtime, and call-ins. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant manufacturing experience or a background in chemical engineering or chemical processing.
