Kelly Services in Livermore, CA is hiring a Pilot Plant Manufacturing Technician on a 6–8 week contract with potential extension. Pay rate is $26-29/hour, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with occasional earlier/later shifts.

You will prepare, operate, monitor, and clean pilot plant equipment, support runs, and maintain accurate records. Requires 1+ year pilot plant or manufacturing experience; AS/BS in Science preferred.

• 1+ years of experience in a pilot plant or manufacturing environment.
• AS or BS in Science preferred, High school diploma with relevant experience will be considered.

• Support day-to-day pilot plant operations and scheduled pilot plant runs.
• Set up, operate, and monitor process equipment, including tanks, mixing vessels, pumps, separation equipment, centrifuges, pasteurizers, and dryers.
• Stage, handle, weigh, and load raw materials and supplies; assist with unloading process equipment.
• Collect samples, label materials, record process data, and complete basic documentation.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize equipment and work areas; maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Follow GMP standards and applicable operating procedures.
• Report equipment or process concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

$26-29/hour

Overview:

In this hands-on role, you’ll help prepare, operate, monitor, and clean pilot plant equipment, while supporting pilot plant runs and maintaining accurate records.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. Flexibility to work earlier or later shifts on operating days (1-2 times/week)

Responsibilities:
