Job summary

Fargo Jet Center seeks a WMI Pilot In Command to fly aircraft in specified weather conditions and support the PIC in maintaining all aircraft and operations. Primary aircraft include King Air C90 and B200, with international deployments across varied locations.

The role requires 2500+ hours total time, 500 hours turbine time, and a Commercial/ME/Instrument rating, plus current medical clearance. Strong English, confidentiality, and willingness to travel internationally are essential.

Qualifications

• 2500+ hours total time.

• Multi-Engine Time preferred.
• Must be Commercial/ME/Instrument rated.
• Must have current First or Second Class Medical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluent English.
• Willing to relocate and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Operating aircraft during mission operations.
• Assisting maintenance on aircraft or mission equipment.
• Replenishing seeding agents as required.
• Maintaining meteorologists informed of storm/cloud developments.
• Keeping accurate flight records.
• Maintaining clean, organized aircraft, office and work area.
• Providing 24/7 weather watch as needed/requested.
• Maintaining professional image and promoting team environment.
• Providing updates to WMI key personnel after operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Operational Objectives:

The WMI Pilot In Command is responsible for flying aircraft(s) in specific weather conditions and assisting the Pilot in Command with maintaining all aspects of the aircraft and operations.

Primary Aircraft: King Air C90 and B200

Essential Job Functions include:

• Operating aircraft during special mission operations.
• Assisting in performing maintenance on the aircraft or special missions' equipment.
• Replenishing the seeding agents as required.
• Keeping the project meteorologists informed of new storm or cloud development during operations.
• Keeping accurate flight records
• Maintain a clean, organized aircraft, office and work area.
• Providing 24 hour/7 days a week weather watch as needed/requested.
• Providing positive public relations, maintaining a professional image, and promoting a team environment.
• Providing WMI key personnel updates after operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
