Job summary

Mente Aviation is establishing a new Flight Department in San Jose, CA, recruiting pilots to operate a Gulfstream G700 under Part 91. The base is KSJC, with capability to hire local or commuting candidates. The team will ensure safe transport of passengers, crew, and cargo across all flight operations.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA ATPL certificate, 3,500 hours total and 1,500 PIC turbine, with a G700 rating strongly preferred and a current First Class Medical. Strong CRM skills and U.S.

Qualifications

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required.
• G700 aircraft type rating strongly preferred.
• Current First Class Medical.
• Total time 3,500 hours.
• PIC turbine experience 1,500 hours.
• Strong CRM skills required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and willing to travel internationally.
• Must be enrolled in an FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Pass a TSA Criminal History check.

Responsibilities

• Final authority to operate the assigned aircraft.
• May delay, cancel, or discontinue a flight if conditions are not safe.
• Indicate changes during flight when necessary for safety.
• Ensure aircraft performance and adherence to procedures to mitigate CFIT risk.
• Plan flights considering weather, routing, airports, traffic, and aircraft performance.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately.
• Maintain professional conduct and compliance with regulations.
• Report flight interruptions to the Company before the next departure.
• Other duties as assigned.
