Job description

Purpose of Position

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified PIC candidates for a Citation X+. This will be a 4‑pilot account supported by a dedicated maintenance technician flying under EJM's P135 certificate. We are accepting applicants who would like to remain home‑based, within a 90‑minute drive of a major airport supported by commercial airlines.

Experience the pinnacle of performance and luxury with the Citation X+: the fastest and most advanced super‑midsize jet in the sky. Known for its speed, the X+ often outpaces larger airframes. Inside, the two‑zone lie‑flat cabin redefines passenger comfort, featuring carbon‑fiber accents, ambient lighting, and an extra quiet interior. It combines a spacious layout with seamless connectivity via Starlink Wi‑Fi. Praised by travelers and pilots alike, the X+ pairs speed with efficiency and reliability. From its custom design to its industry‑leading performance, this is not an ordinary Super‑Mid.

The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.

  • Ensure all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
  • Complete passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation. Deliver the highest level of customer service and meet any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
  • Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel clearly and in a timely manner during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Deliver an Exceptional Service Experience
  • Provide quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Regularly investigate and resolve service deviations.
  • Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience to owners and passengers. Resolve conflict and challenges in an acceptable manner.
