Job summary

Commercial Employees is filling multiple Machine Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows. 1st/2nd shift available with a 2-2-3 schedule offering 14 working days per month, OT every other week, and weekend time off.

Typical duties include operating a single-needle sewing machine, filling pillows with fiber, and monitoring weight. Training and safety are emphasized; prior sewing experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• 12-hour shifts with defined start times and pay.

Responsibilities

• Operate single-needle sewing machines.
• Fill pillow shells with fiber and place on conveyor; check pillow weight.
• Replace needles and re-thread machines.
• Maintain safety and proper use of equipment.
