Job summary

The Ground Improvement / SOE Piledriver role at GeoWorld supports heavy pile driving operations on geotechnical and foundation projects. You will set templates, drive pilings, and coordinate with foremen, ensuring safe, accurate pile placement on structures such as walls, piers, and foundations.

Outdoor, physically demanding work requires reading layout plans, operating with heavy equipment, and strict adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

Prior pile driving experience preferred; foundation, geotechnical, or SOE experience a plus.
Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions.
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform strenuous physical tasks.
Must be willing to travel up and down the East coast

Responsibilities

Use the pile driver head on the machine to drive pilings.
Host piling into leads.
Judge distance and position piling leads.
Site preparation, such as cutting, joining, and fastening construction materials, as well as setting up and disassembling pile driving equipment.
Confer with the project supervisor on job specifications.
Comply with safety codes.
Ability to read layout plans to position and drive piles accurately,
