GROUP Contractors is seeking a Pile Driver Helper to assist with deep foundation installation on industrial sites in Louisiana. The role involves rigging, crane support, and physical labor outdoors. You'll work with lattice boom cranes, follow safety procedures, and learn essential functions from experienced crews.
Occasional travel may be required; hours vary by project. Valid TWIC and OSHA Basic Plus are required; NCCER Basic Rigger certification encouraged.
Must be skilled in the assistance and help of deep foundation installation including, but not
limited to timber piles, concrete piles, sheet piles, drill shafts, auger cast, etc. Must also be
experienced in erecting, disassemble, and working with and around pile driving equipment. Must
also have basic rigging knowledge and perform general construction duties.
Field/Jobsite Environment – Standing, climbing, crawling, standing, crouching, bending,
pushing/pulling, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to loud noises are to be expected
on a jobsite environment. This position is predominately outdoors at an Industrial Construction
Site. Exposure to extreme hot or cold outside temperatures is possible.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Days and hours of work vary from each jobsite. Occasional
evening/weekend work or travel may be required as job duties demand.
