Job summary

Fugro seeks a Deep Foundation Technician in Houston to observe pile driving operations, verify locations, document driving resistance, and ensure site safety and quality procedures are followed.

The role requires heavy travel, long work weeks, and strict adherence to environmental and safety standards. A HS diploma is required; an Associate's degree or Construction Materials certification is preferred along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Construction materials certification or related technical school education preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable record is required.
• Passport and willingness to travel internationally may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead with values: safety, quality, and environmental protection.
• Review pile rig information for documentation procedures.
• Oversee pile installation records and track completion work.
• Prepare documentation for Client presentation.
• Forward pile-driving documentation for review and remediation if needed.
• Work variable schedules, up to 70–80 hours per week and extensive travel.
