Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Pilates Manager to lead the department as a business owner, driving exceptional member experiences and operational excellence. You will build a high‑performing team of Pilates instructors, manage financial goals, and partner with club leadership to deliver premium services.

The role requires certification on Pilates apparatus or equivalent training (min 400 hours), strong communication, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Certified on all Pilates apparatus or completed Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training with ≥400 hours.
• Ability to drive a business and achieve financial goals.
• Professionalism with all employees and members.
• Ability to create team accountability through structured timelines and documentation.
• Ability to manage high volumes of inbound communication and respond timely.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing and collaborative interpersonal skills with members, clients, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Aim to hit monthly and annual department financial goals.
• Ensure high quality Pilates services to maintain ongoing engagement.
• Attend weekly club management and monthly instructor meetings.
• Collaborate with Membership Advisors to grow the Pilates business.
• Organize and participate in club events.
• Implement and follow operational SOPs and related admin duties.
• Build and manage one's Pilates business while coaching the team.
• Active hiring partner and participate in the interview process.
• Proactively assess staffing to meet hiring targets and lead onboarding.
• Lead the operational and sales components of new-hire onboarding.
• Train and develop instructors to grow their business.
• Share and promote Pilates continuing education workshops.
