Job summary

Foothills Park & Recreation District seeks a certified Pilates Reformer instructor to deliver safe, engaging sessions for participants of all levels in our studio. You will work evenings and weekends, using our six Reformers and available props to promote strength, balance, and mobility.

Candidates must hold a current Pilates certification, CPR/AED, and ideally First Aid. The district offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Current Pilates certification from an accepted national certifying organization and maintained via CE credits.
• CPR/AED certification current or obtainable within 60 days of hire.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Pilates principles and proper technique.
• Ability to modify exercises for varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging class environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective Pilates Reformer programming for varying fitness levels.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating class atmosphere.
• Lead based on schedule with regular evenings and weekends.
• Utilize six Balanced Body Reformers and available props to enhance sessions.

Position: Specialty Instructor - Pilates Reformer

Pay Rate: $28.25 - $32.58/hour (based on experience)

Foothills Park & Recreation District is seeking enthusiastic, certified Pilates Reformer Instructors who are passionate about helping others improve their strength, mobility, balance, and overall well‑being. We are looking for instructors who can create a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environment while delivering safe and effective Pilates Reformer programming for participants of varying fitness levels.

Our dedicated Pilates studio features six Balanced Body Allegro® 2 Reformers and a variety of props and equipment designed to provide an exceptional experience for both instructors and participants.

Schedule Availablity:

• Regular evening and weekend teaching opportunities available.
• Additional opportunities exist to increase hours through substitute instruction and private lessons.

Experience and Skills

• Current Pilates certification from an accepted national certifying organization and must be maintained through Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s) as required.
• Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire required.
• First Aid certification preferred
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Pilates principles and proper exercise technique.
• Be able to safely modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels and physical abilities.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive class environment.
