Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District is seeking Senior Recreation Instructors to support and lead recreation programs on-site, indoors and outdoors. You will plan and deliver classes, mentor staff, and ensure safety and quality in all activities.
You will maintain records, stay current with certifications, and collaborate with the team to provide a positive experience for participants and staff across programs and facilities.
Provides general administrative and program support in the maintenance and monitoring of the recreation program and staff, or may provide specialized training, in sports, fitness, exercise, or cultural or recreational programs. Instructors will be held to the upmost standard regarding customer service, leadership, and providing a positive experience for all participants and staff.

Senior Recreation Instructors may work inside and outside depending on program and in various weather conditions. Instructors must be able to physically assist participants in skills, drills and activities. This is a non-smoking workplace. Work is performed in an indoor or outdoor setting.

Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District offers sick leave to part-time employees. Sick leave is accrued at one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
