  • Build safe, effective, and engaging group exercise class plans for participants at all fitness levels.
  • Connect with participants to build rapport and be their accountability partner.
  • Explain and demonstrate exercises in detail; provide modifications and progressions.
  • Explain and educate participants on safe and proper use of gym equipment.
  • Check-in all participants using the Fusion software; report attendance after every class.
  • Promote Campus Recreation programs and services; inform participants on gym policies for safety and hygiene.
  • Meet with the Assistant Director as needed; assist with department-wide programs and staff trainings.

All Group Exercise Instructors are expected to deliver safe and effective classes to all levels of participants. This position will be under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellbeing.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesBuild safe, effective, and engaging group exercise class plans for participants at all fitness levels.
