Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a certified Pilates Instructor to support members by designing effective Pilates programs and guiding private and group classes.

You will assess client goals, provide safe training, promote related fitness offerings, complete administrative tasks, and stay current with certifications and industry trends. A minimum of 1 year PT experience and CPR/AED is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Certified Pilates Trainer; CPR and AED certified.
• 1 year of personal training experience; 6 months of equipment adjustment experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred in kinesiology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitor clients during sessions on equipment for safe, effective use.
• Conduct fitness consultations, set goals, and tailor Pilates training plans.
• Promote and sell Pilates training programs, classes, and personal training.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan.
• Maintain the Pilates studio clean and up-to-date with trends and certifications.
• Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
