Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club in Darien is seeking a dedicated Pilates Instructor to empower clients through private and small‑group sessions. You will design personalized programs, perform initial assessments, and build your client base within a high‑energy club environment.

Under the guidance of a Pilates manager, you’ll refine programming and business development, pursuing ongoing training and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic, supportive team. Join us to lead a lifestyle of excellence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program
• Certification on all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high/combination chair, and barrels
• Proof of Pilates certification(s) is required
• Excellent customer service skills is expected

Responsibilities

• Develop a safe, professional Pilates program for each client to reach goals
• Conduct initial complimentary assessments and goal setting
• Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions
• Expand your client base by working with the club member base
• Complete all client management administrative tasks
• Collaborate with club departments for a well‑rounded member experience
• Provide outstanding service to Equinox members and guests
• Maintain high client activity to achieve results and goals
• Participate in ongoing training and development
• Keep studio and equipment clean and organized
