Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club in Summit, NJ is seeking Pilates Instructors to develop programs and guide clients to their fitness goals. You will work under a dedicated Pilates manager to refine programming, education, and business development, ensuring opportunities for growth within the Equinox team.

The role emphasizes client service, ongoing training, and collaboration with club departments to deliver a holistic experience for members. A high-performance lifestyle is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Test out and completion from a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or completion of certification on all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels.
• Minimum 400 hours of Pilates education through certification program.
• Valid copy of Pilates certification(s) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a safe, professional Pilates training program for each client to ensure goals are met.
• Conduct initial complimentary assessment and goal setting for program recommendations.
• Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
• Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your client base and business.
• Maintain client records and manage administrative requirements.
