BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a part-time Pilates Instructor for a seasonal role. You will design and guide Pilates sessions, ensuring safe procedures and cleaning standards, while supporting daily studio operations and working with the Pilates Manager and team.

Requirements include at least two years of Pilates teaching, a comprehensive certification, CPR/AED, and strong client service skills.

Qualifications

• Must establish safe Pilates programs per governing bodies.
• Excellent member service skills.
• Participate in continuing education sessions.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design safe and effective Pilates programs for clients’ needs.
• Guide members through initial and progressive sessions.
• Ensure proper, up-to-date safety procedures.
• Inspect Pilates area for cleanliness and safety.
• Wipe down equipment and monitor pool, spa, fitness center, and locker rooms.
• Enforce rules in a polite, professional manner.
• Support day-to-day Pilates Studio operations.
• Collaborate with Pilates Manager and team members.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

BallenIsles Country Club located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Pilates Instructor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Designs safe and effective Pilates programs according to clients' specific needs.

Guides members through initial and progressive Pilates sessions.

Ensures proper, up-to-date, and safe procedures are used in the teaching of all clients.

Inspects Pilates apparatus and areas for cleanliness and safety.

Performs light custodial duties, such as wiping down equipment and monitoring cleanliness in the pool area, spa, fitness center, and locker rooms.

Enforces all rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Assists in day-to-day operations of the Pilates Studio.

Works closely with the Pilates Manager and Pilates Team Members.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to establish safe and sound Pilates programs determined by governing bodies.
• Must have excellent member service skills.
• Participates in continuing education seminars and workshops.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge/Skill:

• Experience and exposure with a wide variety of exercise modalities, equipment, instructional techniques, injury prevention, fitness and wellness counseling, and developing and interpreting personalized Pilates and wellness regimens.
• Must be able to read and speak English to perform the duties of the position.

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of two years of experience in teaching Pilates, including Pilates programming and group Pilates training.

Certificates/Licenses:

Pilates Instructor Comprehensive Certification (preferably the NPCP, National Pilates Certification Program, or PMA, Pilates Method Alliance).

CPR/AED Certification.
