Job summary

Life Time Stamford is seeking passionate Pilates Instructors to support members and champion healthier, happier lives through personalized instruction. You will build clientele by delivering one-to-one and small-group sessions, integrating apparatus and ensuring a fun, educational experience aligned with Life Time Pilates standards.

The role requires comprehensive Pilates certification, training on Reformer through Barrel, CPR/AED, and at least 1 year of experience; sales skills are preferred to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor required.
• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Mat, Tower/Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels.
• Certified in Beginner to Intermediate Pilates repertoire.
• 1 year of Pilates training experience required.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized customization in all session offerings, Private (1:1) and Semi Private (3-6 participants).
• Integrate Pilates apparatus into session programming for comprehensive sessions.
• Build and maintain a strong clientele through exceptional service and results-driven instruction.
• Utilize the Pilates method to create positive changes in clients’ lives.
• Completes administrative requirements associated with client’s fitness plan, including documentation.
• Upholds cleanliness and organization of the studio.
• Remain current on certifications and industry trends.
• Create an empowering and motivating environment for all clients.

• Remains current on certifications, credentials, continuing or advanced education, and new trends in the industry

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor
• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Mat, Tower/Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels
• Certified in Beginner to Intermediate Pilates repertoire
• 1 year of Pilates training experience
• Sales experience preferred
• Experienced in progressing the Pilates method through program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
• CPR and AED certified

• 250-600 hours comprehensive Pilates Certification (minimum education to include Mat, Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel)
