Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an experienced Pilates Instructor to support members by building relationships and delivering high-quality Pilates programs in a welcoming studio.

You will design client programs, lead private and group sessions, and promote fitness services while maintaining a clean, safe studio and upholding the Life Time brand.

Qualifications

• Pilates training design experience is required.
• Certification in Pilates is required; knowledge of reformer, tower, chair and barrels is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on safe and effective use of equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes.
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
• Educates members on health and fitness issues and trends.
• Provides superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention

• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry

• Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming
• Documents all aspects of client programming
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Experience in Pilates program design
• Certified Pilates Trainer
• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair and Barrels
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Requirements

• 150 - 400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair)
