Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

1. Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
2. Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment
3. Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
4. Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
5. Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members
6. Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
7. Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
8. Remains current on certifications and industry trends
9. Educates members on health and fitness issues and trends
10. Provides superior customer service to ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected
11. Documents all aspects of client programming
12. Maintains current credentials and continuing education
13. Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation

Position Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1 year of personal training experience
3. Experience in Pilates program design
4. Certified Pilates Trainer
5. Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels
6. Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
7. CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Requirements

1. 150 - 400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (including Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair)

Pay

For the first 8 weeks, hourly wage of $15.00, with eligibility for unit pay. After 8 weeks, pay is on a performance-based commission basis.
