MVP Sports Clubs in Rockford, MI is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging MOSSA-based classes for members of all fitness levels. The role emphasizes safe coaching, energy, and maintaining class quality while collaborating with the Group Exercise Manager.

You will ensure proper warm-up, music readiness, and on-time class start, while upholding MVP’s training standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current certifications through ACE, ACSM, AFAA or NSCA or equivalent.
• 200 hour RYT Yoga Instructor Certification acknowledged by Yoga Alliance.
• Minimum of 1 year experience teaching group exercise is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Training required; in-house training if needed.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver as-defined MOSSA group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Arrive early, cue music, have programming prepared, and start/end on time.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and meet attendance goals.
• Learn new releases and follow MVP MOSSA guidelines and shelf life.
• Ensure group exercise areas are clean and equipment is safe.
• Educate new members on exercise execution and equipment options.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve member issues.
• Assist with substitutes and schedule adjustments as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
