Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part-Time Pilates Group Exercise Class Instructor to work at St. Jude's, powered by Premise Health in Memphis, TN. Classes are scheduled Tuesdays 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM with potential to pickup additional classes.

Lead group exercise classes, design inclusive routines, deliver excellent service, and maintain safety per site procedures. Required certifications include a National Group Exercise certification, CPR/First Aid, and 1–3 years of experience; corporate fitness

Qualifications

• Group Exercise certification from a nationally recognized organization.
• Specialty certifications as determined by class format.
• Yoga instructors must have 200-hour certification.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on training in BLS/First Aid required.
• 1–3 years of experience instructing group exercise.
• Experience in corporate fitness setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes for members and approved participants.
• Design inclusive routines with modifications for all fitness levels.
• Delivers excellent customer service and a positive class experience.
• Creates a safe environment by adhering to site specific safety and injury prevention procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Part-Time Pilates Group Exercise Class Instructor, to work at St. Jude's, powered by Premise Health located in Memphis, TN.

The scheduled hours are Tuesday 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM with potential to pickup additional classes.

What You'll Do

• Leads group exercise classes for members and approved participants.
• Designs inclusive routines with modifications for all fitness levels.
• Delivers excellent customer service and a positive class experience.
• Creates a safe environment by adhering to site specific safety and injury prevention procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Group Exercise Primary certification from nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFAA, ACE, IDEA) or
• Specialty certifications as determined by class format or
• Yoga instructors must have at least participated in a 200 hour certification.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or Basic Life Support for community/lay responder, along with First Aid certification that includes hands-on skills evaluation, required.
• 1-3 years of experience instructing group exercise classes.
• Experience in the corporate fitness setting preferred.
