Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an experienced IT leader to head a project IT team on a mega EPC initiative. You will set goals, coordinate resources, develop staffing plans, and manage budgets to deliver automation and integration across disciplines.

This role requires strong communication, cross-functional influence, and a proven track record in project execution. You will drive the Project Automation Plan and ensure governance, cost control, and timely delivery on complex programs.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree and 13–15 years of relevant experience, or 17–19 years of relevant work experience.
  • Significant EPC experience or strong project-led understanding of cross-functional EPC work processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provides management and oversight of IT staff and operations on mega projects.
  • Plans IS&T resources, develops staffing plans and budgets for studies and projects.
  • Defines IT goals, schedules, and divisions of responsibility for projects.
  • Develops and implements Project Automation Plan and input into Project Execution Plan.

Project Overview:

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team of IT staff and operations for complex projects. You will set project IT goals, and coordinate resources to develop strategies, staffing plans, and budgets. You will develop and implement the Project Automation Plan, and manage cross-functional automation, innovation, and integration requirements. Your leadership and best practices will drive successful Project IT execution. #LI-SM2

Major Responsibilities:
  • Provides management and oversight of IT staff, operations on a mega project and/or highly complex projects, scope, and activities.
  • Responsible for planning IS&T resources to develop strategies, staffing plans and budgets for multiple studies, proposals, and projects.
  • Defines and sets Project IT goals, schedules, and divisions of responsibility.
  • Develops and implements Project Automation Plan and provides input into the Project Execution Plan.
  • Implements IS&T Project Procedures and adheres to Corporate and GBU IS&T governance framework.
  • Maintains Project IT budget and associated forecasts.
  • Provides oversight and management of GBU Software OC and Project IS&T operational costs.
  • Reviews and negotiates contractual requirements of 3rd parties and software vendor license agreements for multiple studies, projects or GBU business lines.
  • Develops and maintains the project application Software Portfolio.
  • Manages automation, innovation and integration requirements with the company, client and/or key stakeholders/disciplines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Significant experience working within the EPC functions or a strong Project-led understanding of cross-functional EPC work processes and the applications used for Project execution with a passion for implementing new and innovative work processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain new work processes and technologies to all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities with demonstrated experience providing direction/supervising a team.
  • Good understanding of configuration management and application integration requirements to enable cross-functional data integration.
