Job summary

Clearsulting is hiring a Pigment Solution Architect to lead conversations with finance leaders and oversee FP&A/EPM implementations. You will guide projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery while leveraging your deep finance and consulting experience.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in management consulting in FP&A/EPM or 6+ years in an internal FP&A role, with travel willingness and the ability to work in a hybrid or remote setting footprint across the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field.
• 4+ years of management consulting experience in the EPM/FP&A space or 6+ years in an internal FP&A role.
• Proven project and people leadership skills; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and Canada; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead conversations with finance leaders and executives to understand FP&A/EPM strategic agendas and provide actionable insights.
• Guide and oversee EPM/FP&A implementation projects, including process assessments and redesign, EPM system selection.
• Assist in managing workstreams, ensuring delivery across the full System Development Lifecycle (requirements, integrations, testing, go-live).
• Apply deep functional expertise across corporate finance EPM/FP&A processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and change impacts.
• Create and deliver executive-quality communications and presentations that articulate complex business concepts.

Role

Pigment Solution Architect

Location

• Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
• Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
• Travel Expectations: Up to 40%

What You'll Do

• Lead conversations with finance leaders and executive stakeholders to understand their FP&A/EPM strategic agenda and provide actionable insights
• Guide and oversee EPM/FP&A implementation projects, including process assessments and redesign, EPM system selection
• Assist in managing workstreams, ensuring delivery across the full System Development Lifecycle (functional and technical requirements, integrations, testing cycles, and go-live)
• Apply deep functional expertise across corporate finance EPM/FP&A processes
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and change impacts
• Create and deliver executive-quality communications and presentations that clearly articulate complex business concepts
• Build strong client and internal relationships while consistently modeling the Clearsulting Core Values

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field of study
• 4+ years of management consulting experience in the EPM/FP&A space or 6+ years of experience in an internal company FP&A role
• Proven project and people leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Eligibility to work in the United States and Canada
• Willingness and ability to travel

Nice-to-Haves

• 1+ certifications and/or implementations in relevant technology (Pigment, Anaplan, OneStream). Pigment experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to upskill on the Pigment platform.
• Project management experience, including workplan development, milestone tracking, risk management, status reporting, and change management
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead practice growth initiatives tied to revenue and margin outcomes
• Experience building and maintaining strong client and internal relationships within a consulting environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
