Job summary

Late Night Slice in Columbus, OH seeks a Catering Lead to oversee catering events, working with kitchen and field teams to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction. You’ll navigate large orders with agency and leadership, reporting to Catering Managers to drive improvements and develop teammates.

Essential duties include producing timely orders, serving with superior hospitality, training staff, enforcing health standards, and coordinating with management on forecasts and workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Available for early mornings (5 a.m.) and evenings.
• Passion for hospitality and adaptable to a fast-paced catering setting.
• Able to train, supervise staff, and maintain service standards.

Responsibilities

PIESAN JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary: The Catering Lead oversees available catering events, working directly with their team in the kitchen and in the field. They have agency and skills to navigate the nuances of any large order, ensuring clients and guests are pleased with their experience. When event is finished, they report to the Catering Managers, identifying opportunities to improve operations, developing team members, and the overall event execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Producing orders that are on time and in accordance with MLNS training standards.
• Serving/delivering orders while providing excellent above and beyond hospitality to clients and guests.
• Train and supervise staff, in congruence with Catering and location General Managers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Implement and enforce kitchen policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies that may arise during production or service.
• Be able to comfortably explain processes, procedures, Late Night Slice culture, norms, and unwritten guidelines to all peers.
• Can dedicate ample time to events but understands there can be an ebb and flow of incoming orders.
• Communicates with store management any forecasted issues with staff, equipment, inventory, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, company vehicle, and serving sites including equipment maintenance and sanitation protocols.
• Assist management in coaching and developing team members.
