Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hershey, PA. The travel RN will provide advanced pediatric critical care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and maintain high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires one year PICU experience, active RN license, and BLS/PALS certifications. Offers comprehensive benefits, with travel pay and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per pediatric nursing protocols.
• Operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, central line setups, monitors) and assist physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians.
• Interpret vital signs and respond to deviations with rapid interventions.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Document patient history and assessments accurately in records.
