Job summary

UW Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PICU/CVPICU at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. The 60% FTE Weekender position covers 12-hour Day/Evening shifts every Saturday and Sunday, with pay differentials for evenings, nights, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Six months nursing experience in inpatient units or current UW Health Nurse Residency participant.
• Current WI RN license or compact license; CPR/BLS; PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill or post-surgical pediatric patients in a 21-bed PICU/CVPICU.
• Provide family-centered, evidence-based nursing care for complex cardiac and other conditions.
• Support a multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-designated facility with emphasis on safety and family engagement.
