Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Continuously monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and neurological condition.
• Assess patients and recognize changes in clinical status promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed; assist with advanced monitoring and critical-care interventions.
• Maintain airway safety and monitor respiratory support; collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection-control protocols and patient-safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families and provide compassionate, family-centered care.
