Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking a Pediatric ICU Per Diem RN to join a Magnet-designated team renowned for exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, ECG and critical care training, with BSN preferred.

You will provide high-quality assessments, medication administration, and meticulous charting in a collaborative ICU setting.

The PICU RN Per Diem will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• PALS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• Procedural Sedation course completed course completed course completed during clinical orientation
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
