Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a NICU RN for per diem coverage in the Neonatal ICU. This Magnet-designated hospital is renowned for outstanding nursing practice and patient outcomes.

The NICU RN Per Diem will collaborate with a skilled team, perform thorough assessments, administer medications per policy, and meticulously document every aspect of patient care. NJ RN license, BLS, NRP (I & II) required; BSN preferred, one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; NRP certification Part I & II required.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The NICU RN Per Diem will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferredBSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I & II required

Salary Range:56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
