Candidates should have BSN or ADN and NCLEX, hold an active state license, ACLS/PALS often required, and be available for a 5 on AM and 5 on PM shifts with at least 2 shifts per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care to PICU patients (children and adolescents) with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and artificial nutrition as prescribed.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and the healthcare team to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.
• PICU RNs may float to the Pediatric unit (Peds) as needed.
