Job summary

Ingenovis Health is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse (PICU RN) for travel assignments across the United States. You will provide intensive care and continuous monitoring for critically ill or surgical pediatric patients in demanding clinical environments.

Required are 1–2 years of recent PICU experience and an active RN license in the United States. Ingenovis Health partners with UK King’s Daughters as the employer of record for Riverspan, handling onboarding, payroll, and benefits

• Additional certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure for critically ill pediatric patients.
• Deliver high-level care to surgical pediatric patients in the PICU setting.
• Collaborate with the care team and document patient status and responses to treatment.

Job description

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse, or PICU RN, you'll be responsible for providing the highest level of medical care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. PICU RNs provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure, so you must have strong clinical knowledge in addition to a caring bedside manner.

Basic Travel Nursing Requirements

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
