Job summary

Ingenovis Health's Riverspan program places PICU RNs across all states, handling onboarding, payroll and benefits, while clinicians work with UK King’s Daughters staff for scheduling.

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse you provide intensive nursing care, monitor breathing, heart rate and blood pressure, and support families in a high-acuity setting.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in pediatric critical care, active license in the US and flexibility to travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent experience in the primary area of care.
• Active license in one of the 50 US states.
• Additional requirements and certifications may be requested by facilities.
• A motivated, adaptable, service-oriented spirit.

Job description

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse, or PICU RN, you'll be responsible for providing the highest level of medical care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. PICU RNs provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure, so you must have strong clinical knowledge in addition to a caring bedside manner.

Basic Travel Nursing Requirements

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
