Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Pediatric Critical Care Team on the Main Campus. You will assist the nurse with patient care activities, observe developmental levels, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, PCA training or experience, and CPR is preferred at hire. You will measure vital signs, intake and output, help with daily living activities, and ensure a safe environment while supporting

Qualifications

• PCA training or PCA experience or enrollment in a health care related education program is required
• 1-2 years STNA experience in hospital setting is preferred
