Job Responsibilities

1. Read pick lists to determine items to be moved or gathered.
2. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to saws or other designated areas.
3. Sort and place materials into designated areas according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers or the assembly line.
5. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments.

Qualifications

Up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
