Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Picker/Packer/Shipper in Bolingbrook, IL to accurately pick and process orders, apply shipping labels, and stage shipments. The role requires attention to order details, safe operation of equipment, and effective communication with team members.

Job Description

The Picker/Packer/Shipper is responsible for accurate order picking and processing of product, ensuring order information, weight, and shipment details are correct before processing through UPS/FEDEX, USPS and other systems. He/She is also responsible for printing and applying shipping labels on packaging and staging shipments, ensuring company standards for damage‑free and productivity are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent related experience.
• Previous experience with material operating equipment (minimum 1 year with electric pallet jack and/or 1–3 years with other material operating equipment).
• Previous experience using RF Scanner and WMS systems preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to communicate with co‑workers, leads, supervisors, and/or manager as to progress in tasks/functions being performed.
• Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.

Pay

Up to $16.50/hr.
