Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Picker/Packer for the 3rd shift. You will operate GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items, verify titles and quantities, and label/scan boxes for shipping. Safety shoes are required.

Ideal candidates have distribution facility experience, can lift 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.

Picker/Packer | $17.00-$19.50 | 3rd Shift

What You'll Get:

• $17.00/hr + $2.50/hr shift differential
• Full-Time Schedule w/Mandatory Overtime on Friday and Saturday
• On Demand Pay

Shift:

3rd (11:00pm-7:00am), Sunday-Thursday, overtime required including Friday and Saturday

Location:

700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Path to Permanent Employment:

New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team.

What You'll Do:

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions
• Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required

What We're Looking For:

• 4 months previous distribution facility experience
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
• Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced, seasonal, work environment
