Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Picker/Packer for the 2nd shift in Plainfield, IN. The role involves selecting items using GreyOrange or Jennifer systems, verifying titles and quantities, labeling and scanning for shipping, and following safety guidelines.

Typical duties include moving and packing books, standing for long periods, and meeting daily throughput targets. Overtime is required; benefits follow the 90-day evaluation period.

Qualifications

• 4 months previous distribution facility experience - preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.
• Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items.
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions.
• Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping.

Picker/Packer | $17.00-$19.50 | 2nd Shift

Job Details:

• $17.00/hr + $2.50/hr shift differential
• On Demand Pay
• Full-time schedule
• Overtime Required

Shift:

2nd (3:00pm-11:00pm) overtime required including Saturday and Sunday

Path to Permanent Employment:

New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team.
